				'Duplex' lamp | 
		
			| The Duplex lamp was
                one of the most common oil lamps used in Britain and was
                manufactured right up until the 1980's. Often the modern lamps
                are sold as 'Victorian' or 'Antique, we have a selection of
                lamps for sale pictured below.All are exactly as described but to conform with current
                regulations are offered for decoration only. All lamps are
                unrestored, 'one only' and will be sold as pictured with new
                wicks.

                complete with opal shade and clear chimney. The brass foot has
                some tarnishing to the laquer but will polish up well.

			| Lamp #103Iron base, brass founted lamp
                complete with modern decorated glass shade and oval chimney. This lamp has
                some patination to the the brass but will polish up if
                you prefer a bright appearance.
 The cast iron base has a Reg. design number dating from 1894 and
                has been painted gold/green by a previous owner.
 The German made burner is fitted with new wicks and ready to use.

 | Lamp #104Exquisite glass founted lamp complete with later swirl shade and
                round chimney.
 The bayonet burner is marked 'Wright & Butler, Birmingham #2 and probably dates from the
                early 1900's. The lamp has a slight 'lean' common to
                antique lamps and there is some marks/damage to the fount
                collar.
 Fitted with new wicks and an attractive lamp for display or home
                use.
 Price in any 'antique' shop would be £195.00, snap up a
                bargain.!

			| Lamp #105Very heavy, Youngs Duplex table lamp. Dating from the early
                1900's using a
                best quality Youngs #2 bayonet fitting raiser burner with new
                wicks. Rare 'Lambert & Brien', Dublin sellers marks on the
                winder.
 In full working order with an more modern reeded glass shade.
                Good patina but with heavy polish residue in the detailing. This
                lamp would benefit from careful but thorough cleaning.

                early 1900's. In full working order
                and fitted with new wicks, Lifter burner, duplex round chimney and modern
                uplighter  shade.
 The Benham & Fround copper fount has polish residue in the detail and may benefit from
                further cleaning.  An attractive and practical 100 year old lamp!
 This type of lamp is selling for over £150 on a well known
